Mrs. Bridger is entering her third year as a Valiant. She loves the Catholic Faith and looks forward to passing on this love to her students. Mrs. Bridger was born and raised in Austin, TX. She has one younger sister who also resides in Houston. Mrs. Bridger moved to Houston in 2004 to attend the University of St. Thomas (UST) where she earned a degree in Theology. In 2008, she joined the GRACE Program (Gulf Region Academy of Catholic Educators) at UST as a founding member of the first ever cohort. While in GRACE, she lived in community with her teaching cohort and taught full-time at a Catholic school, all while working towards her Master’s in Education. After teaching in Catholic schools for 3 years, she joined a Dominican convent in Michigan and discerned religious life for a year and half. When she returned to Texas, she immediately began teaching again here in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The 2024-2025 school year will be her 15th year in the classroom and she is exactly where God wants her to be. Mrs. Bridger has been married to her wonderful husband, Mr. Bridger, for 7 years and they have two cats, Gus and Texas Toast. Mrs. Bridger loves baking in her free time and enjoys spreading joy with her baked goods. She loves Jesus, Our Blessed Mother, the saints, glitter, unicorns and coffee. Her life goal is to allow her students opportunities to fall in love with the Lord so that she may party with them for eternity in Heaven.
