Mrs. McConnell is excited to be back as a third grade teacher as she begins her fifth year at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School and her sixteenth year teaching. Being an alumnus of SFdS, she is passionate about this school and feels grateful to be able to work here each day. Mrs. McConnell holds a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from Stephen F. Austin State University and is certified in Early Childhood through sixth grade. Mrs. McConnell loves being a teacher because she learns something new everyday.  Her students teach her just as much as she teaches them!  Mrs. McConnell loves spending time with her sweet three-year-old, Emma, her adorable one-year-old, Wells, and her very handsome husband, Matthew. She enjoys taking family walks with her little dog Maddie, visiting museums and the library, and hanging out with family and friends.
